Planning a retail store so it can open
A store interior is judged on opening day: the customer path, the counter, the storage, and a shopfront that belongs to the fit-out.
A retail interior is a place that has to trade. Display, the counter, storage, and the path a customer walks are drawn before the finishes. The studio’s retail background is why opening day is treated as the point of the job, not as an afterthought.
More than 200 stores have opened with the studio’s involvement across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. A single Hosur shop can still be its own project. A repeated format is drawn so each opening stays buildable.
The shopfront, when the brief includes it, is part of the same drawing as the room inside. The outside and the inside should read as one store.
Handover is a shop that can take customers. Shree Rajaganapathy Interiors designs and installs that fit-out from the studio at KCC Nagar, Bagalur Road, Hosur.
